Creative Movement (Designed for children ages 3-4 yrs of age.)
This introduction into dance is done with an emphasis on enjoying and discovering the magic of movement. It will also teach very basic ballet steps that are developmentally appropriate for this age and will work on improving gross motor skills. (Dress code – short sleeved pink leotard (no skirt), pink tights, and pink leather ballet slippers, hair in a bun or ponytail)

Ballet/Tap I (Designed for children ages 4-5 yrs of age.)
This class offers a combination of both ballet and tap techniques. The ballet portion of this class will focus on learning a series of age appropriate ballet steps, refining gross motor skills, and enhancing creativity through movement. This introduction to tap will include learning very basic tap steps with an emphasis on experiencing the joys of rhythm. (Girls Dress code: short sleeved pink leotard (no skirt), pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, black tap shoes and hair in a bun or ponytail. Boys: white t shirt, black shorts or black tights, black ballet slippers and black tap shoes)

Ballet/Tap II (Designed for children ages 5-6 yrs of age.)
This class is a progression from Ballet/Tap I. Students will continue working on skills learned from Ballet/Tap I at a more accelerated rate and will progress on to more advanced steps. (Girls Dress code: short sleeved pink leotard (no skirt), pink tights, pink leather ballet slippers, black tap shoes and hair in a bun or ponytail. Boys: white t shirt, black shorts or black tights, black ballet slippers and black tap shoes)

Ballet/Tap III (Designed for children ages 6-7 yrs of age.)
This class is a progression from Ballet/Tap II. This class provides the beginning fundamental skills needed to progress to the next levels of ballet technique. (Girls Dress Code:  black leotard, pink tights, and ballet slippers- hair in bun. Boys: white t shirt, black shorts or black tights, and black ballet slippers.)

Ballet Technique
All ballet classes follow a comprehensive curriculum that teaches ballet technique in a progressive sequence that is appropriate to each student’s ability level.(Girls Dress Code: – black leotard, pink tights, and ballet slippers-hair in bun. Boys: white t shirt, black shorts or black tights, and black ballet slippers.)

Jazz Technique
Using contemporary music, this class is a combination of classical jazz technique and funk. (Girls Dress Code: any color leotard, tights or jazz pants, and tan jazz shoes-hair in ponytail or bun. Boys: any color plain t shirt or tank top, black dance pants or shorts, and black jazz shoes)

Tap Technique
Using traditional and current tap techniques, this class focuses on rhythm, coordination, and various tap combinations. (Dress Code- any color leotard or tank top, dance pants, and black tap shoes – hair in ponytail or bun)

Hip Hop
This class is an introduction to current dance trends. This upbeat dance class includes a warm-up, original choreography, and a breakdown of today’s most popular hip hop steps. (Dress Code – Intro to Hip Hop, Hip Hop 1, and Hip Hop 2-tan jazz shoes, Hip Hop 3 and up-see teacher)

Modern
A style of free and expressive dancing. Often including but not limited to the use of parallel, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation. (Dress Code – Any color leotard, tights, bare feet, and hair in a ponytail or bun)

Lyrical
A blend of ballet and jazz techniques. (Dress Code – Any color leotard, jazz shorts, bare feet, and hair in a ponytail or bun)

Broadway Jazz (Designed for children ages 12 yrs old and up)
Musical Theater class will help bring out the personality in a dancer’s performance skills. The warm up for the class will be mixed with acting games and a dance warm up. The focus will be on developing characterization of a dancer, understanding the story behind a dance, building self-confidence on stage, as well as performance skills tailored to Broadway styles. This class will help students take their dancing to the next level by digging deep into the lives of characters in musicals and what motivates them to dance. (Dress Code – any color leotard, jazz pants or jazz shorts/capris and tan jazz shoes)

Broadway Bound (Designed for Ages 3-5 years old)
This class will learn dancing, singing, and acting!
(Dress Code- Girls-any color leotard or tank top, leggings, tan jazz shoes and hair in a pony tail or bun. Boys-white T-shirt, Black shorts or dance pants, and black jazz shoes)

Conditioning Class (Designed for Ages 7 and up)
The conditioning class will utilize the Progressing Ballet Technique syllabus developed by Marie Walton-Mahon as well as other exercises to help students improve muscle memory, increase flexibility, and strengthen overall technique. Students will learn exercises that will directly impact their other dance classes, as well as proper ways to continue flexibility and strengthening at home.
